UV Dye Leak Detection
UV dye added to the system and every pipe, fitting and the condenser checked under blacklight to find where the gas is escaping.
Condenser & Evaporator Replacement
Stone-damaged condensers and leaking evaporator cores replaced, including the dash-out work an evaporator needs.
Compressor Replacement
Seized or noisy compressors replaced with the receiver drier and expansion valve, and the system flushed so debris does not kill the new one.
Pipe, Seal & O-Ring Repairs
Leaking crimp fittings, perished O-rings and chafed pipes repaired or replaced, the most common and cheapest leaks to fix.

Air Con Regas - FAQs
How often should a car aircon be regassed?
A sealed system should hold its gas for years. If it needs a regas every summer, it has a leak, and the leak needs fixing. We leak test before every regas for that reason.
Why is my aircon not cold after a regas?
Either the gas has already leaked out again, or the fault was never the gas: a failed compressor clutch, a blocked expansion valve or an electrical fault will all stop the cooling with a full charge. We diagnose before we regas.
How do you find an aircon leak?
We add UV dye to the system and run it, then check every pipe, fitting, the condenser and the compressor seal under a blacklight. The dye glows bright green where the gas is escaping.
How much does an aircon regas cost?
The regas itself is a fixed price. If the leak test finds a fault, we quote for that separately before doing anything, so you decide with the facts in front of you.

What does a hissing sound from the dash mean?
Usually the expansion valve or a low charge. It is worth a check before the system runs dry, because a compressor running without gas and oil wears quickly.
