Got Questions?

Brake Repair - FAQs

How do I know if my brake pads need replacing?

Common signs are squealing or grinding noises, a longer stopping distance, vibration through the pedal, or a brake warning light. We can measure pad thickness during a brake check and tell you exactly where you stand.

Do you skim or replace brake discs?

Both. If a disc is within safe thickness limits we can skim it to remove warping and scoring. If it's too thin or badly damaged, we replace it. We'll always tell you which is the safer option for your car.

How often should brake fluid be changed?

Most manufacturers recommend a brake fluid flush every two years because the fluid absorbs moisture over time, which reduces braking performance. We check the condition and advise based on your vehicle.

Will a brake repair affect my service plan or warranty?

Brake work is routine maintenance. We use correct-spec parts and keep records. If your vehicle is under a plan or warranty, tell us before booking so we can confirm any conditions that apply.

Where are you based?
