How often should I service my car?
Most cars are serviced every 15,000 km or once a year, whichever comes first, but it varies by make, model and engine. Bring your service book and we'll confirm the exact interval for your vehicle.
Will servicing at Fangio void my warranty?
No. Under South African right-to-repair rules you can service at an independent workshop without voiding your warranty, as long as it's done to spec with approved parts and properly recorded. We stamp your service book accordingly.
What's the difference between a minor and major service?
A minor (interim) service is mainly an oil and filter change plus a safety check. A major service is more thorough, including additional filters, spark plugs and fluids, following the full manufacturer checklist.
Can you service my car if it's out of its service plan?
Yes, and it's usually cheaper than a dealer. We service to spec and quote up front so there are no surprises.
