What a Car Service in Randburg Includes
A car service is a structured inspection plus the wear items your car is due for. The exact list depends on the make, the mileage and the interval in your service book, but every service we do in Randburg covers the same core work.
Minor Service
The routine one, due at every interval. Engine oil and oil filter to the manufacturer’s spec, air and pollen filter checks, fluid top-ups, brake and tyre inspection, battery test, a diagnostic scan for stored fault codes and a short road test. Service book stamped.
Major Service
Everything in a minor service, plus the longer-interval items: spark plugs, fuel filter, cabin filter, brake fluid, gearbox oil where the schedule calls for it, and whatever else your manufacturer lists for that mileage point.

Brake pads, discs and handbrake. Tyre tread, pressure and uneven wear. Belts and hoses. Lights, wipers and washers. Coolant, power steering and clutch fluid. Anything we flag comes to you as a WhatsApp quote before we touch it.
Signs Your Car Is Due
- A warning light that stays on: engine, oil, battery or ABS.
- A new noise: a tick from the engine, a grind when you brake, a whine on hard turns.
- Filling up more often without driving more.
- Hard starting in the morning, or a rough idle once warm.
- A brake pedal that feels soft, sinks, or pulls the car to one side.

How Often to Service
Most cars are serviced by time or by mileage, whichever comes first, and your service book sets the interval. As a rough guide many petrol cars are due every 15 000 km or once a year, and many diesels every 15 000 to 20 000 km or once a year.
